Marina Bay is Singapore's showpiece: a ring of water framed by the ship-topped towers of Marina Bay Sands, the lotus-shaped ArtScience Museum, the Supertrees of Gardens by the Bay and the colonial dome of the Fullerton, all lit up nightly by a laser-and-fountain show. Stay here and the city's greatest hits are on your doorstep.
The central district offers hotels for every taste. The bay itself holds the skyline icons with rooftop pools; the Civic District and Singapore River have the grand dames — the Raffles, the Fullerton, the riverside conversions — and the boat-quay restaurant strips; Orchard Road is a mile of shopping malls anchored by classic five-star towers; and the shophouse lanes of Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Tiong Bahru supply boutique hotels with real character.
Everything is walkable or a few MRT stops away: the Merlion and the Esplanade, the National Gallery, Gardens by the Bay's cloud forest, the hawker stalls of Maxwell and Lau Pa Sat, Clarke Quay's nightlife and the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Sentosa is 15 minutes by taxi or cable car when you want a beach.
Singapore is hot and humid year-round, with February to April the driest and November to January the wettest — but every hotel here is built around air-conditioning and a pool. When our Marina Bay and city deals arrive they'll follow the house rules — direct hotel contracts, breakfast always included, transfers and extras in writing. Join below to hear first.
We're negotiating directly with hotels in Marina Bay & City right now — the same way every TravelPearls deal is done, with the inclusions written into the contract. Joining is free, no membership fees: sign up below and you'll be first to hear the moment our first Marina Bay & City deal goes live.
See this week's live dealsMarina Bay for the icons, views and the Gardens; the Civic District and Singapore River for heritage grand hotels and riverside dining; Orchard Road for shopping and classic luxury; Chinatown or Kampong Glam for boutique shophouse stays and street food. All are within 15 minutes of each other.
Ideal. Changi is 20–30 minutes away, the main sights are walkable from Marina Bay, and a two-night stay covers Gardens by the Bay, a hawker centre, a rooftop bar and the light show. Many of our members break a Bali, Thailand or Europe trip here at one or both ends.
Easily — Sentosa is 15 minutes by taxi, or take the cable car from Mount Faber or the monorail from VivoCity. Universal Studios, the beaches and the S.E.A. Aquarium make an easy day trip, so you don't need to change hotels unless you want a resort feel.
Year-round — hot and humid with brief afternoon storms. February to April is driest; November to January is the wettest monsoon stretch. Chinese New Year (January/February) and the F1 night race (September) are the big events and busiest hotel periods.
