Sentosa is Singapore's playground island: a five-square-kilometre resort enclave off the southern tip of the city, connected by causeway, monorail and cable car, with three beaches, two golf courses, Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium and a collection of resorts that range from family-focused fun to some of the most luxurious hideaways in Asia.
The resorts cluster in two zones. Resorts World, beside Universal Studios, is the family hub with themed hotels and easy access to the aquarium and Adventure Cove waterpark. The south coast — Siloso, Palawan and Tanjong beaches — holds the beachfront properties, the palm-fringed pools and the island's most exclusive, colonial-style retreats, with beach clubs and sunset bars along the sand.
Sentosa is a rare thing in Singapore: a place to slow down. Cycle the beaches, take the luge, cross the suspension bridge to Palawan's "southernmost point of continental Asia", ride the cable car back to Mount Faber for the views, then go into the city for dinner — Marina Bay is 15 minutes away. It suits families doing Singapore in resort mode, and couples who want a pool and a beach with a city on tap.
Like the rest of Singapore, Sentosa is warm year-round with short storms, driest February to April. When our Sentosa deals arrive they'll follow the house rules — direct resort contracts, breakfast always included, transfers and extras in writing. Join below to hear first.
We're negotiating directly with hotels in Sentosa Island right now — the same way every TravelPearls deal is done, with the inclusions written into the contract. Joining is free, no membership fees: sign up below and you'll be first to hear the moment our first Sentosa Island deal goes live.
See this week's live dealsSentosa is 25–35 minutes from Changi Airport by taxi via the causeway, and 15 minutes from Marina Bay. From the city, take the monorail from VivoCity (HarbourFront MRT), the cable car from Mount Faber, or simply walk the boardwalk. Our deals will include the airport transfer.
Sentosa for a resort holiday — beaches, pools, Universal Studios on foot — with the city an easy trip. A city hotel for walkable sights, dining and a stopover feel. Families with young children doing Universal Studios usually prefer Sentosa; couples on a short stopover often prefer Marina Bay.
It's built for them. Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove waterpark, the luge, beaches with calm water and resorts with kids' clubs and large pools. Themed family hotels sit right at Resorts World; the beachfront resorts suit families wanting more space and quiet.
They're pleasant, calm and man-made, with imported sand and views of the shipping lane rather than open ocean — fine for a swim, paddleboarding and beach-club afternoons, but not a tropical-island beach. Think of Sentosa as a resort island with beaches rather than a beach destination.
