A couple of days after every confirmed booking we email the customer and ask them to rate their experience with TravelPearls and tell us why. The average above counts every rating that came with a comment, plus every five-star rating; we leave out one-click low scores with no feedback (we can't act on or verify those) and ratings about an issue we've since resolved with the customer. Nothing is edited, and written testimonials are published once we've confirmed they belong to a genuine booking.
